Jacob (Jake) Rothman, CPA, CFA, CFP® started Rothman Investment Management to help people in San Luis Obispo County and around the country build, protect, and focus their wealth through fee-only, fiduciary, comprehensive wealth management. Jake spent nearly a decade as a member of institutional investment teams before launching his own firm, where he could work directly with clients to make a more personal impact. He believes that having a personalized plan that aligns with one’s values can bring lasting satisfaction.
Jake lives in Paso Robles, California with his wife, Nour, and their newborn son, Jacob Rothman Jr. He’s grateful to be raising his family in the area where he grew up, after living and working in Georgia, Virginia, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin. While he enjoys traveling to new places and reconnecting with friends across the country, he’s always glad to return home to his community.
Outside of work, Jake is passionate about reading and lifelong learning. He especially enjoys books on finance, business, productivity, human behavior, history, biography, theology, and Christian living. He also values staying active through running and regular gym workouts, often participating in 10Ks and half marathons. But most of all, Jake finds fulfillment in spending quality time with family and close friends—experiences he considers among life’s greatest blessings.
